Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 April 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LoadHaus platform operated by LoadHaus Ltd ("LoadHaus", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales. By creating an account, posting a job, accepting a load, or otherwise using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. What LoadHaus is
LoadHaus is a business-to-business marketplace that connects UK construction contractors posting haulage jobs with licensed drivers and fleet operators. LoadHaus is not a transport contractor, employer, or agent of either side. Jobs agreed on the platform form a contract directly between the contractor organisation and the driver or fleet organisation.
2. Eligibility and accounts
The service is for UK businesses and sole traders operating in haulage or construction. You must be at least 18, lawfully entitled to operate a business in the UK, and — where required — hold current operator licences, insurance, and waste-carrier registrations. You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
3. Your responsibilities
As a user of LoadHaus, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and current information about your organisation, vehicles, and documents.
- Keep insurance, operator licences, and MOT records up to date. Expired or revoked documents will cause the platform to suspend the affected vehicles from bidding automatically.
- Comply with all applicable UK laws, including Health & Safety, waste-carrier regulations, driving-hours rules, and tip-site requirements.
- Deal with counterparties professionally and in good faith, including paying and being paid in line with agreed terms.
4. Subscriptions, loads and payments
LoadHaus charges monthly subscription fees based on tier, billed via Stripe. Details are shown on the billing page. A "load" is a single photo-confirmed truck trip — see our Privacy Policy for how load evidence is collected and stored.
Subscription fees are charged monthly in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. If a payment fails, the affected organisation's access to paid features may be suspended until the issue is resolved. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Off-platform activity
Where two parties meet through LoadHaus, completing jobs outside the platform circumvents the protections the platform provides (verified documents, ratings, photo-confirmed evidence) and is prohibited. We may monitor unusual patterns and reach out to the affected accounts.
6. Disputes between contractors and drivers
Loads are automatically confirmed 24 hours after submission unless disputed within that window. Disputes are raised in-app and, where parties cannot agree, may be escalated to LoadHaus for review. LoadHaus acts as a good-faith intermediary only — we do not insure the transaction and are not liable for the underlying commercial arrangement.
7. Content, ratings and reviews
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant LoadHaus a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it on the platform. Ratings and reviews must reflect genuine experience and must not contain defamatory, discriminatory or unlawful material. LoadHaus may remove content that breaches these Terms.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, provide false information, fail to settle platform fees, or operate in a way that harms other users. You may delete your account at any time; certain records (e.g. tax, audit, dispute) will be retained for as long as required by law.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LoadHaus's total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the platform is limited to the subscription fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email and/or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date means you accept the revised Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
